Nearly 3 years have gone by since we first opened our doors and we continue to grow and evolve as a Community. Each year has brought about new changes in the site. This last year is no exception as we have been busy implementing a lot of exciting changes as we closed out 2007 and prepared the way for the new year. The following summarizes the recent changes and upcoming events going on in the United3D Community:

• We have opened our 3rd District, Mythica, to accommodate the growth of the Community. Since United3D has continued to thrive and have steady growth with new members joining from all sectors of the online community, we needed to add a new District. We decided to do something different and let the people decide on the name and theme for the new District. After having a couple of weeks for the nomination of names and descriptions for the potential new name, we held an open vote. After a month voting a clear winner emerged and Mythica was born! With the dedicated efforts of several members of the Community, we carefully crafted a new look for the new District to capture the essence of her meaning, the mythical and mysterious. She is now under new leadership as she continues to attract new residents to her oceanfront homes...
• With a major re-design of the site, we have made many more options readily available to the citizens of the Community. Several changes both under the covers, in the framework and in the layout of the buttons, have made the online experience even more enjoyable. By implementing a dynamic menuing system we have opened up space to enhance the 3D viewing area, and made more features a click away, e.g.,  like seeing who is online at the top of the screen. We have also made it so you can read and post to the Main Plaza message board from anywhere in the Community. We have added "My Control Panel" on the top of every screen to make many important settings a click away. Many other changes that you have to check out.
• A new Community calendar has been added to keep everyone informed about upcoming events. Not only does this calendar provide you with a way to get a quick summary of upcoming events displayed right on the side panel but it also allows the citizens to view the calendar in a variety of formats. In a new initiative just started we are asking the citizens to let us post their birthdays on the calendar so that when their birthday arrives they can receive United3D CC's and other prizes. With this calendar you will never miss an event! In the near distant future we will be making personal calendars available as well!
• Automatic logon to United3D's BBS site from within the 3D Chat Community. As many of you know we have been integrating features from the United3D Bulletin Board Service (BBS) over the last year to provide a series of multi-player games and other cool content. We have now made it virtually transparent to access the many features of the BBS with the click of the "BBS Games" button at the top of the screen. By clicking this button you are automatically logged into the BBS. The BBS offers many games that have become quite popular to the Community and there are many other features waiting to be discovered like having your own email address in the format of username@united3d.com as accessed from the Email & Forums link off of the main BBS menu. Many more features of the BBS will be enhanced and advertised to the Community in the upcoming months.
• We have a new addition to the online games, Numbers4U, a Lotto with Pick 3 and Pick 4!  We have already had quite a number of BIG winners in this fun new game. Of course no real money is used or paid out, but you can win anywhere from $100 to literally millions in United3D CC's! The lotto drawing is every Friday night with Pick 3 and Pick 4 having nightly drawings. Your account accrues a weekly pay check from which you can wager with both random and manually selected numbers for all games in the amounts of $1, $5, and $20. This games has barely been online for a month and has already grown to be quite popular amongst the residents.
• International Bingo every Saturday at 4pm. We have started up a new Bingo series to accommodate many of our citizens from around the globe. We play 6 rounds of Bingo with prizes for every round with the possibility of multiple winners in a round. We decided to offer this day and time slot based on feedback from members of the Community. If you would like to see Bingo events occur on other nights/days and/or at different times, don't hesitate to email Bolt at admin@pcpursuits.com or post a message on the Plaza Feedback message board. Check the calendar for more information on the prize amounts being awarded at the upcoming Saturday Bingo event. And remember all you have to do to access Bingo is click on the "BBS Games" button!
• New positions opening up to support the steady growth of the Community. As with any community there are always people coming and going in various positions of responsibility. And with the addition of the new District and the many other attractions in the Community, we have several jobs open including some Council positions. Check the Employment Office online for more details.
• Spring Break Party being planned for April 19th. To celebrate United3D's 3rd Spring season online, we are having a party. This is going to be an all day event with people coming and going through out the day and into the night. We have many prizes, contests, and events planned including the Most Creative Avatar contest! In this contest we are asking people to create Avatars that are beautiful, or creative, or just plain outrageous (please keep it PG rated). We are hoping that some of those contestants will be willing to donate their avatar for use by United3D residents at the end of the contest. Look for more details online.
• Several new features are being rolled out in the upcoming months. We are constantly striving to add quality features and content to enhance the site. To list some of the things being planned: automated help files for new comers, new external web design, new homes, file areas to upload and download, new forums, personal blogs, new community places, a multi-player Battleship game, and many new features to come!
